How Do I Get EBT?
Maui residents seeking EBT / SNAP / Food Stamps first need to complete the benefits application form, available online or at all State of Hawaii benefits offices. After you have completed your application and gathered all the required paperwork (paystubs, bills, etc ) to verify your information, use the maps below to find the EBT office closest to your home. Click here for benefits office contact information statewide.
An intake worker will go over your application with you to see if you qualify for SNAP benefits. If you meet the requirements, the worker will determine which of the three eligibility standards you meet, if any, based on your individual income and needs.
NOTE: There are often long waits at the Maui EBT office. Be sure to get there early, and bring all of your paperwork to avoid delays.
